An Interesting Sequel

My previous post was posted with no tell tale signs of who it could be unless the person knew they had snubbed me. I posted this post on my facebook page as well not expecting anyone to recognize themselves. The person snapped and ranted on their own page about my post. Totally separately someone who knows me, did not know I posted what I did, and also knows the person in question asked me if this person had changed. That they seemed to have become more a person on the edge as far as normal behavior goes. It's very interesting. They obviously have either fallen from the person they once were or have been living under a façade for decades. The façade has cracked and people are noticing their abnormal behavior. It's too bad, as this person was the one with perfect husband and kids. At least that's how it always appeared. I have not mentioned her behavior to anyone. I no longer trust her, but would still not talk badly of her by name to anyone. Her off the rails outbursts are unsettling because they are uncharacteristic, at least of the person I thought she was. Apparently time changes people, or at least makes them become their true selves.

When Day

Recently, on the same day, I ran into two people, both of whom I have known since my early teen years. The one used to always give me a big hello and want to chat...when our friendship could be of benefit to them. Now that the benefit is not an issue I barely got a hello from my "Friend". I did, but it was cordial, that was it. By contrast, someone I have known nearly as long but who never wanted anything from me gave me the same big hello and chat they always have. Coincidence, Conscience or Class? It's not really a question that needs answered. It's more just an observation of human behavior. I find it an interesting study.
